This person would provide daily Oracle support, training and technical problem solving for the Retail Customer Service department. This person would also bring Scholastic system experience that currently does not exist in the new Trade department. This would be a customer facing position that would also provide technical and Oracle support to Key Scholastic Trade customers, act as the primary contact for Scholastic Klutz, Teaching Resources and Trade sales reps for technical questions, support UAT testing for IT for Oracle system enhancements and provide support in the use of Scholastic operating systems and software to members of the department.Senior System Analyst - Responsibilities1.Manage and process request from the NYC Trade Ops team that are received via the Trade Operations E-Mail box2.Provide technical support, analysis, and development services to Scholastic Trade customers and the NSO Trade department on Scholastic systems.3.Modifies and helps configure the Oracle system as required by Trade Department end-users.4.Act as department Project Manager. Would be responsible for providing senior leadership, strategic direction, and technical expertise to any and all major technical projects.5.Develops reports and ad-hoc queries to address operating needs of Scholastic Trade customers and NSO Retail Customer Service department.6.Provides support in the use of Scholastic operating systems and software within the Scholastic Retail Customer Service department.7.Coordinates with Scholastic IT and Oracle departments regarding meeting and training schedules, special projects, and other technical support activities.8.Primary NSO Retail Customer Service department technical trainer.
